Dark JJ

Dark JJ stood in the middle of a blank white page, looking at the little blue arches and gray blocks floating around him. He had a blocky crayon body, a peach-pink face, brown triangle hair, and tiny square feet. “What a curious place,” he said with a smile.

But there was a problem. The shapes would wobble and drift away whenever Dark JJ tried to greet them. The small black squares near his feet even bounced out of reach! Dark JJ wanted to make a game, but the pieces would not stay together.

Then he noticed something wonderful. The blue arches curved like bridges, and the gray blocks looked like stepping stones. “Maybe these shapes are not lost,” he said. “Maybe they are waiting to be joined.”

Dark JJ carefully placed the arches above the blocks, making tiny tunnels and tiny doors. He lined up the black squares into a path. Suddenly, the floating shapes seemed to dance in place, as if they were part of a magical play world.

Dark JJ laughed. His picture became a little village of shapes, and everything fit perfectly. He learned that imagination can turn simple pieces into something amazing, especially when you keep trying with a kind heart.
