Mary Ana

Mary Ana was a large pink flower with a bright smile and soft petals. She lived in a sunny little garden where the day always felt warm and cheerful. Beside her grew a tiny purple bud named Pippa, who was still closed up tight.

One morning, Mary Ana noticed that Pippa was drooping a little. The little bud wanted to open, but she was too shy and unsure. Mary Ana leaned gently toward her and said, “Don’t worry. Flowers bloom in their own time.”

Mary Ana held her petals wide to make a cozy shade, while the small yellow sun glowed above them. The pink halo around Mary Ana made the garden look extra magical. Pippa listened to the breeze, drank in the sunshine, and slowly began to puff open.

Then came the big moment—pop! Pippa opened into a tiny purple blossom. She wiggled happily beside Mary Ana.

Mary Ana smiled even bigger. The two flowers danced in the warm light, happy to grow together. And from that day on, they remembered that kindness and patience help beautiful things bloom.
