Tom

Tom loved the sunny little patch of grass beside the tree. Every morning, he waved at the flowers and watched the blue sky sparkle above him. One day, Tom noticed that the three flowers were drooping a little. Their stems leaned toward the ground, and even the cheerful leaves looked sleepy.

Tom looked around and discovered the problem: the flowers were thirsty! The soil near their roots was dry and dusty. Tom remembered the two small red circles he had found near his hands were actually tiny berry-like watering beads from a toy bucket he had been carrying. He smiled.

Tom carefully used the little watering beads to pour water onto the dry soil. Then he gently patted the ground around the flowers and gave them a happy little wiggle of encouragement. The sun stayed warm, the tree stood tall, and the blue sky seemed to glow brighter.

Soon, the flowers lifted their heads again. Their colors looked extra bright, and Tom clapped with joy. Tom learned that small acts of care can make a big difference. And every day after that, he kept looking after his sunny little garden corner with a kind heart.
