Kumud

Kumud stood on the sunny balcony with two friends, looking out at the row of bushes and the wide blue sky. The morning felt calm and happy. Kumud loved the balcony because it was the best place to watch the world wake up.

But today, the three friends could not agree on what to do first. The friend in blue wanted to count the clouds. The gray-headed friend wanted to look for birds. Kumud wanted to make the balcony feel even more special.

Then Kumud noticed a little breeze swishing past the bushes below. "Let's make a sky-watching game!" Kumud said. The friends listened carefully. Kumud pointed to the sun, then to the clouds, then to the green tops of the bushes. They took turns finding shapes in the sky and silly patterns in the trees.

Soon they were laughing together, and even the quiet morning seemed to smile.

At the big moment, all three friends leaned on the balcony and shouted, "We found a cloud rabbit!"
